dvd authoring question

helo everyone i just triying to make a video that include the movie,a photo show and music
tracks the movie is in avi the photo show i done with photoshow those two items i have allready
done it what i cann't put is the music (there ere on cd) i tried mp3 but the authoring sw TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 give me a massege that only can be iserted the video part but since is only music
is there a convertion to the music file that i have to do in orther to accomplished that proyect.
