I'm just wondering if I am only one to notice this?
But when I turn the 'stabilizer' on for my JVC VCR, I notice the audio hiss is reduced somewhat. Its not complete gone, but none the less, the hiss is reduced.
Anyone else notice this?
thanks,
gammer

I've also tested hooking the auido directly from the VCR to the 'Line In' on the back of my sound card, as apposed to using the RCA inputs on the ATI purple dongle. By going strait to the sound card, I notice it cuts down on audio noise too. I can't remember if I read on Lordsmurfs site to try this or where I read it?? But it seems to make a difference.
Also, if you have a JVC VCR with the Stabilizer option, experiment turning it off and on while listening to your audio capture and see if you notice a difference??
