Looking for the strong ripping capability DVD copy software

The most error message is the data redundancy which is due to the DVD quality such as the scratches etc. It results in the most of ripping process failed/stopped. Is there any DVD copy software that can skip or ignore the data redundancy and eventually goes to the end? In other words, I am looking for the best DVD copy software that can rip the DVD movie to the end without failure in the middle.

If the disk is damaged how can you expect to rip it ... its not the software thats the problem, its the disc ... its damaged, end of story

DVDderypter ISO-read can deal with bad spots as long they are not bundle together, when you set it to ignore read error.

DVDFab Decrypter seems to be the most error tolerant, in my experience. What it does when it encounters some unreadable spot, I don't know, but at least it seems to stop at nothing.

I just had a disc that i could not get to rip with DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter because of some scuffs and scratches....

Finally got it to rip, made a backup and watched the whole thing.

Once again i used.....

Not always so, i have even been able to rip cracked dvd disc's as long as only the plastic was cracked and the layer the info was on was still intact 8)

If you follow these direction I would ask that when you post a follow up thread(and you without a doubt will) asking why your DVD skips, fails to play correctly, or shows signs of degraded quality that you PLEASE list this setting. Most people would waste their time questioning the quality of your media when in fact it was your own settings that created a non-functional DVD.

Using this setting is very much like giving a first grader a trignometry book and telling them to just ignore the things they don't understand.

The next day ask the child to find and provide the proof for: lint: 1/(1+x^4) dx

Your playback media feels the same struggle as the child does.

coody, you should also be aware that cyclic redundancy errors can also be caused by dirt on the laser lens of the reader and other problems. CRC is a process of comparing the original to the copy through checksums, I believe. If the comparison fails, then a CRC error results.

If you have a lot of errors, even with ISOBuster or DVDDecrypter, what you end up with may not be playable. And it will take quite a while to rip. I would try to clean up the scratches if the rip fails badly. You have little to lose at that point.

quite true. BUT the resultant dvd has lots of pixelation where it had problems reading the original (my experience). at least it gives you a dvd to copy/shrink.

It is true the DVDDecrypter seems the most error tolerant although sometimes it may take a whole night to complete the ripping. But I still satisfy its tolerance until I can find better ripping software. I ever got a suggestion to use the ColonDVD. Unfortunately, sometimes it cannot recognize some DVD source. I have not tested the ISOBuster yet. Does the DVDDecrypter have the full version which includes the writing function? I want to copy the DVD movie to the second DVD RW directly instead of saving the source into the hard drive first.

Never a good idea. Has rarely produced anything but coasters.
