  1. Hello All,

While in Paris, I took video (Quick time movie) of the Eiffel Tower with 90 degrees tilted. I was wondering if anybody can suggest me how do I turn it 90 degrees now so that it looks proper.

Can anybody also suggest me how do I get rid of the beginning, few seconds. Total video is of 3 minutes.

    Thanks

VirtualDub (freeware). You'll probably also need to CROP to get the video to a compliant size before encoding (if that's your goal).

    Does VirtualDub accept MOV files?

If so, the rotation and any cropping you choose to do are done by applying filters: Video -> Filters...

  5. VirtualDub is what I also thought but it doesn't take mov files and I am not in mood to spend money just for one video on Quick Time Pro, unless there is a free fully functional trial

AFAIK prob is getting q/time codec that will allow open in whatever software. Guess would be if there are any trials for Q/time encoders like: http://www.sorensonmedia.com/

Don't know if quicktime alternative would do any good. Might try some of the NLE trials also, but I'm not sure if any will include the ability to open quicktime without pro version installed.
