  1. I own a copy of Family man on dvd and want to back it up, due to some small scratches on it. I tried to use my 1clickdvd and even dvdfab. both do not find it. For 1click it says it can not open video_ts.ifo. Verify your source in the options dialog. I do and still same error.

    Arghhhh

    Help please

    Thanks

Try using DVD Fab Decrypter and after ripping the DVD, browse for the folder VIDEO_TS

If the scatches are bad enough that this software won't read it chances of producing a good backup without errors is next to nil. This movie is under $10 at Amazon or at Walmart for $5.88. If a good backup is important you may want to consider those options.

  4. ok I did get dvd fab decrypter to get it to the hdd. But I tried to bring it back now to a dvd with 1clickdvd and it starts fine then dies after 5mins saying the program encountered an error and needs to shut down. I have rebooted but same error. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Too many disc errors on the original to get a clean backup. It's cheap movie to buy a backup. All the discs and you've spent might be better spent on visiting your local media outlet.
