it is pretty clear ...
but the quality is suspect
THIS IS CONTENT SPECIFICALLY FORMATTED FOR PLAY WITH APPLE'S VIDEO iPOD AND SONY'S PSP. IT WILL ALSO PLAY IN LATEST QUICKTIME, iTUNES, NERO SHOWTIME, AND WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (WITH THE RIGHT CODEC). THE VIDEOS HAVE BEEN FORMATTED TO A SCREEN SIZE OF 320 x 240"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Stuff like that is the reason I hate ebay. Blatant Piracy (IMO) all over.

Here is the cop out
By bidding the buyer is certifying that he or she owns the original product. Even though this listing is for the family guy series on discs, for eBay listing purposes this has to be considered a "service" item and it is the assumption of eBay and this seller that you own this original material which gives you the right to own a backup copy in another playable format. -
yes total cop out, but I dont think that should be allowed. total crap

I don't mind this sort of pirating as much.
At least its honest pirating and not counterfeiting.
Also he is selling it very cheap.
It's illegal, but I would group this one in with jaywalking and not murder.snappy phrase
I don't know what you're talking about. -

Thing Is I do own All the family guy series legit box sets. I have encoded one episode to play on my Sony Ericsson W900 mobile phone. (same format as psp). If I wanted to do the whole lot it would take me hours, paying a few quid to someone who has already done it would be a viable option for me (thought the quality would probrably suck, I spent a lot of time getting the process right for excellent quality using vdub). But you know that most people who buy this will probraby not own the original DVD's

Pirates have a code. "First you have to be a pirate for it to apply. And second, they're more like guidelines really."

no difference on this and the companies that sell edited for family movies ...
the buyer is supposed to won the original (as stated in the ad) and it is up to them - i guess"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

Counterfeiters prey on the little guy, while pirates like this ebayer are almost like Robin Hood.
This guys prices are very cheap, I mean with some internet providers the bandwidth required to download these would cost more than the price of this auction including shipping.
he is breaking the law, but do you really think that he deserves to be thrown in Federal prison for five years and anally raped?
I am not saying that anal rape is by law part of the punishment, but you know this guy would get anally raped, a lot, if he were to go to Federal prison.snappy phrase

I think you missed what I was saying.
veryourhead: That was a quote from 'Pirate's of the Carribean'.
Anal rape is such a harsh term. Prisons prefer Tossed Salad or Colon inspection.
