So who's your pick for Superbowl 40??

I think Seattle will win. They have a pretty explosive offense.

I think we're the winners, it should be an excellent game. I'm torn between either team but the logical side of me is thinking Seattle wins. They played harder for the entire NFC game whereas Pittsburgh seemed to slow their game down as the end neared. Seattle just seems like they want it more. However I think Bettis and Cowher deserve a ring, as does Alexander and Hasselbeck. Holmgren already has a ring 8)

Pittsburg all the way. They didn't even need oxygen for the Denver game. They slowed up to keep from overexerting themselves in high altitude. I saw the O2 taks out on the Denver side though. I think Pittsburg was robbed of their chance to go last year, so I think this year they are going to be a bit more aggressive at it in the game.

Either way, this is going to be one great game. The media was initially worried because neither of the teams hold areas of large television viewer population for football. However, polls indicate this is going to be a more anticipated game and seems to show quite a bit larger population of people wanting to view it altogether. You're damn right I'm gonna see this game. I'm thinking of getting a catheter installed just so I don't have to miss a moment of action (and the commercials. can't miss the commercials).

    Pittsburgh.....

....will probably find a way to screw it up. But I am not there to watch the game so maybe they will have a chance. Every time I started to watch a Steeler game they started to suck(I used to live there)...

    Fumble...
Even the German commentators thought so.

He was touched on the hip, so they consider it a tackle once his knee hit the ground. He lost the ball after his knee hit.

I still think it should have been a fumble though. A finger tap on a pass doen't mean it's a complete pass. A finger tap where the guy breaks away and trips on his own is still a fumble when he loses the ball. damn rule book.

The Steelers won definitively enough that it doesn't matter, but did anyone else think that there were alot of bad calls against the Seahawks?

Like the touchdown that was called back because the receiver pushed off the defender...he barely touched him and it didn't even give him any advantage. Like Madden said, that's not a penalty, that's just football. There were a few other times where I thought the refs really stuck it to them.

Just that one touchdown could have prevented the Seahawks from playing sooooo desperately at the end of the 1st and 2nd halfs, cause that's where they totally lost it.

The highlight of the game for me was big ole Casey Hampton getting a sack. I went to high school with that guy. He literally sat in 2 chairs and I'm talking about those chair/desk built in things. He'd squeeze one cheek onto one then slide another under the other cheek and build himself a little fort. Needless to say we had a good football team when he was there.

Once, when our football team lost our fans tipped their bus over. It was an interesting place to go to school.
