Is it just me or Nero? I got excellent pic quality using Nero 6.6.0.8 to Nero 6.6.0.18, however upon playing the movie in my DVD player, I HAD to crank up the volume to 23-25 in order to be able to listen to the conversation in the movie? (My normal volume on TV is only 13-15!)

My Audio setting is "Automatic" during burning? where can I set/"Up" the volume?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Use virtualdub to demux the audio, load it into an audio editor, alter the sound (because simply upping the volume of the loud parts might be too loud - look at normalising functions instead), re-encode you audio, then use this when encoding.

If Nero can't accept a seperate audio file, then either ditch it for one that can (best option), or use the new audio to replace the original in your avi.

Tmpgenc for encoding and TDA for authoring is a simple combination. Problem is, tmpgenc is sloow. You could also look at CCE basic or ProCoder Express for encoding.
