    Ok, i have tryied to get hdtv mpg2 files work in normal dvd and xbox360.
    i authored the dvd using TMPGEnc DVD Author...had to patch the mpg2 file
    with DVDpatcher... the question is that has anyone else tested this?
    the canal+ video with 1920x1080i resolution and 17 Mbit bitrate didn't work
    very well but when i encoded the video to 720p with bitrate 8.5mbit and thevideo worked perfectly on Xbox360...i haven't tested in normal dvd player so i don't know what happens...

    Unlikely to work on a standalone player - too far outside spec. Be interested to see what happens though.
