  1. DVD's like Dreamworks have too many previews and generally take way too much space. What software is the best for removal or supression of those previews? Hopefully it will also be easy for a novice to use!!!

    Assuming you are copying the discs, just copy the movie only.

    DVDShrink also has a menu option to disable the key preventing you from skipping through or going to the menu. Basically, they will still play, but you can skip ahead or use the menu button.

    DVDShrink in Re-Author mode and only keep the main movie. I do this on all my backups and very rarely play the originals, when I want to watch a film that's what I want to watch. Not hours of previews and other rubbish.

    Use clonedvd2 copy dvd titles option, with click on preserve menus you will have only movie with original movie, better than Shrink it takes menu off.

    But Shrink in Re-Author can take as much or as little off as you want. If you only drag the main movie across, that's all you get. You could even set mark in and mark out points and remove the intro and end credits if you wanted to.
