    I'm planning on getting Vegas. Right now, I'll have to put it on my parents' computer to do any editing. What can I do when I get my own computer? I've heard of problems involving this. When I get my own computer, I'll uninstall it from this computer.

    Also, is this a lot better than MediaStudio?

    Hello Shbm, I have registered Sony Vegas 5 on two computers and have never had a problem with it...!

    I'm sure many here will disagree with me, buy SONY Vegas is the top of the line as far as I'm concerned.

    Take the time and browse through the manual.

    They have (or had anyway) a page on their site just for that, re-registering. Or I've sent email about the same thing when it was SOFO -- had new codes the next day.
