hello,
Im looking to upgrade my video card to get better TV output (Id like to use my PC to play DVDs/HDTV recordings on my Projector). Id like to get the best quality possible, and as close to the same quality i would get from a stand alone dvd player as I can. It needs to have DVI-output, as I plan to use a DVI to Component adapter to conenct to my projector.
I have a Dell dimension 4600, with one AGP 8x slot at 3 PCI slots (I dont think they are PCI-express, but not sure how to know).
my current graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
I was looking into the ATI products with the new AVIVO technology (radeon X1300, x1600, x1800), but they all seem to be PCI-express which i dont think i can use.
Id like to try to spend less than $200, although if i have to i will spend more.
