    Hi everyone:

My Philips DVP642 can turn on/off subtitle while playing AVI files.

I am looking for software that will allow my computer to do the same thing.

    Thanks

    Thanks, baldrick.

Videolan plays both picture and subtitle. But the picture is almost whitened out.

This seems to be a videolan's problem. The software plays the incompleted file perfectly during download. However, once the download is completed, videolan will display the video like it is being viewed behind a mosquito net.

How could I correct this problem?

I restarted the computer and the "white out" problem went away! Videolan works fine now.

Maybe something is wrong with my computer/video card!

    Anyway, thank you again, baldrick.
