Hello, whenever I convert movie's into a VCD recordable formate with TMPGEnc and rip the sound, and do all that good stuff just to make a VCD, my windows media player on the internet to stream videos gets messed up. I have WMP 10, and after i burn a VCD, and go to a site and stream any video it would be using WMP 6.0 which isn't compable with alot of sites nowadays but when i open up WMP its still WMP 10. Can anyone help me figure out whats going on, because it really annoying after burning a VCD i have to set up WMP 10 agian and restart my comp.

    thank you.

WMP6 or Media Player Classic (which looks a lot like the old WMP) ? Somehow your associations are getting screwed up. I would suggest that one of the processes you use calls MPC, which then changes the associations. I would be surprised if it didn't propmpt you though, so I suspect you say yes to something without reading the fine print.
