Not much to go on, but this geezer at work asked me for the title of a film. His clues are.....
1) It's a new film less than 2 years old
2) Probably British, at least featuring mainly Brits
3) The central character is a lady, oldish, who grows cannabis.
Not much to go on, but any help greatly apprciated

Sounds like a home film. Cobra, is your girlfriend doing HOW-TO videos on growing marijuana again? She was out of prison only 6 months and went straight to her old habits. BTW - those DVDs you helped her with on growing poppies worked beautifully. :P
I don't have a clue as to the movie. The last British movie I saw was Harry Potter 4 and the next one will probably be the new James Bond. -
The film you're looking for sounds just like "Saving Grace", except that film is not new. It's from the 80's (I think) and it is British. The main character (Grace) is an older lady with no money, who resorts to growing and selling marijuana to make ends meet. I saw it about a year ago on DVD. It's a cute movie - funny, but not hillarious. If that's not it, I haven't a clue. Good luck.

Mawdryn, I'll let you know if that's the one. It does look like it.

IMDB shows "Saving Grace" as being from 2000
Quote"Plot Outline: A small-town English widow, facing financial troubles after her husband's suicide, turns to agriculture of an illegal kind." -
sbtuttle,
yep I checked the date, I have a feeling it's not this film as I'm positive I saw a film review of a movie about a canabis growing woman not too long ago. Still Saving Grace is about the best so far, thanks to Mawdryn. -
