Hi Everyone ^_^
Maybe this has been answered elsewhere ( I apologise if I missed it ) but I tried quite a few different programs, here and also at dvd.box.sk and no cigar,.
I basically want to watch the Japanese film GAICHU with SUBTITLEs.
To that end I purchased the Japanese Gaichu Region 2 DVD (which has no English subs) and managed to find and download SUBtitles in this .txt format, they are somewhat like this:
This format is not compatible with the VirtualDubMod .SSA subtitle filter.Code:00:01:23:... And she did it|in her lover's apartment. 00:01:28:Slitting wrists sounds scary... 00:01:30:You think she bled a lot? 00:01:35:It must be hard with her Dad gone 00:01:38:and her Mum doing that. 00:01:41:Sachiko doesn't have a Dad?|- No.
I'm looking for a way I guess to convert this .txt format to SSA,
as I've already ripped my Gaichu DVD to a nice DivX 5 file, I guess I would
incorporate the two using VDM as I've been able to do for some anime fansubs before. Which soft would you recommend for this conversion process?
Or maybe there is a way I can work directly with these .TXT subtitles?
I hope someone can post some hints.
Thanks!
Cake^_^
