  1. For the past 3 yrs, I've used a pioneer 105 drive, and has served me will, until recently. I believe that the drive is dieing due to fixation errors in Nero.

Now, the questions is...should I stick to Pioneer? or would LG be a better brand to go for?

I want to have the most compatibility with media (I use mostly TDK, Maxel for DVD-R).

    Any suggestions would be great.

I backup my DVD's using an LG burner, play them on a LG Upscaling DVD player, and view them on an LG 42 inch plasma.

    Very happy
