Hi,
I was wondering if someone could give me a link to a site that sells somehting that will plug into an Australian plug socket but has an adapter for an English plug.
Also a site for a 10/20 or 50 pack of cheap rechargable batteries.
Going over to Aus to see my cousins
Cheers people!!

When you arrive in Australia there are plenty of places that you can buy those adapters, try DICK SMITH, TANDY, or even at the airport when you arrive. And here's a news flash, they actually have shops in Australia that sell batteries. Things have really kicked on here since the old convict days. :=)

Hi SE14man,
ANy half decent electrical type shop in the UK should sell the converter plugs: places like Tandy, Comet etc. Hell, even Boots sell them.
But, like tweedledee, says there's plenty of places in the cities that sell them. Talking of which - where you heading? If you're going somewhere remote, maybe best to pick one up at the airport.
As for batteries - maybe the same electrical shops that sell the plugs? The voltage is the same here, so you'll be OK to recharge batteries bought in the UK.There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
