    We have a mac that all of a sudden compressor 1.2.1 will not work. The error message that appears is that it can't connect to a background process. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Final Cut was already installed. Any suggestions welcome.

    First, have you installed Pro Apps Support 3.01 under
    Software Update?

    Second, check this article, and do what it says*:
    Compressor cannot connect to back

    This will fix the problem.


    * per your OS version and your version of Compressor.
