    I've got the latest divx and xvid codec, when I load something in WMP and try to skip apart it would freeze the prog, sometimes the file wouldn't even play, I know its not he file caz it plays in Media Player Classic so yeah any idea ? I'm running WMP 9 since I heard WMP 10 has spyware or something along those lines.

    So... don't use WMP?

    And what is this "something" you load anyway? Not all formats are skip/seek friendly.
