I have been looking for that firmware that allows my Lite-on SOHW 1633s to write dvd-r's at 12X. In fact, Im looking for firmware that makes it do anything better. I always thought it rips too slow as well and Im hoping that something fixes that too. I have looked and looked but I can decide which firmware is the one I need, if anyone has a link on what I need to get I would very much appreciate it because now Im even more confused as to what to do here (Ive been searching and reading for over an hour). Thank you for your replys!

ps. I have the BSOS firmware as of now

ok..I got an update, when I flashed the drive to the newest firmware...it SEEMED to be doing alright, but it was burning coasters, which hasnt happened to me in forever. So I ended up wasting your time because I went back to my old f/w and now everything is as it was. But it doeant burn coasters now that I went back. Sorry for wasting your time.
