    no useable video stream.
    im trying to burn a dvd using winavi and when i pick the files i constantly get this messafe
    any help please?

    whats the source file? Run it through G-Spot and tell us from there, as we need more info!

    what is your source video?? use gspot to identify. winavi does NOT support everything.

    or try some other all-in-one converters like divxtodvd.

    unfortuneatly i am completely new to this as im not sure what the sourse file would be im using win media player?
    do i need a different media player perhaps?
    im not even sure what the file extentions are vob,iso,bup seem to be the extentions showing up

    if you have vob,bup,ifo you can try and burn them without any converting cause it is already in dvd format. read https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?howtoselect=3;25#3;25

    if you want to make own menus use tmpgenc dvd author and select add dvd video and choose the vob folder.

    conversion failed,
    doesnt contain a video stream.

    So WHAT files are you trying to burn?!?!?!?! Run Gspot on them and tell us what they say!!!!!

    ok, now i figured out how to use gspot this is the info im getting.

    after looking at each individual file in the audio bow it appears that they are a codec AC3 and it seems to be installed.

    in the video box it appears the codec is MPEG_2 and the name is MPEG-2 and it appears it is not installed for every file.

    hopefully i have given the appropriate info this time, thanks for your help

    Go get yourself and MPEG-2 codec.
    If in doubt, Google it.
