i have been using nero for quite long, and i felt the nero software is not so powerful. it cant change the video size from 320x204 to biggers, and it need plug-in to support for burn-dvd video and super vcd.

the worse one is it takes me an hours to burn an AVI file to vcd.

is there a free plug-in for the nero or other software that equal or highest than nero?

You are using the free version of nero I assume? An upgrade to the complete suite will include MPEG2 encoders. Nero 6 is only $30(sometimes less) or the newest version Nero 7 is around $70.

And there are a ton of encoders that are free... QuEnc, etc... Search for them in the Tools section.

If you're willing to invest some time, check out the CONVERT section left. There are many free (none worse than Nero) software and methods to explore.
