So your audio is in WMA2, but the overall FILE is in AVI?
In that case, I'd suggest VirtualDub. Load the file, go into Stream // Stream List, click on your audio stream, and do "Save as WAV" -
Yeah i tried that first. The audio wasn't usable. I was able to download some random shareware program that converted the avi to mpg as well as the audio to mp2. After that I was able to conver to ac3 although I could have left it as an mp2. So my problem has been temporarily fixed. This is the first time I've ever had to convert this type of audio. Whoever captured that avi file using that format should burn in hell. Thanks for the help anyway.

Hiho,
last time I had to handle this f****ng format inside an AVI (it canīt be replayed by all divx certivicated stand alone player I know) I solved it this way:
1. I used MediaPlayer Classic and replayed the AVI or WAV you mentioned while recording it inside my computer back using the recording mode 'all you can hear (f.e.)
2. did some editing (checking length/cutting etc. )
3. muxing it back again with VirtualDubMod - thatīs it
Good luck :P
