I need your help:
I have a JVC GR-DVM90 camcorder, it uses MiniDV tapes
What I need to capture video to my PC?
What video card do you recommend me?
Thanks a lot for your time

That camera apparently has I-Link (1394A, Firewire) output, so you need a Firewire cable and a Firewire PCI card. The cards are fairly inexpensive, usually about $20US.
WinDV is a good freeware program for transfer to the computer. You can use VirtualDub, also free, for editing after the transfer (I prefer VD Mod). You would need to install a DV codec like the Panasonic DV Codec for use with VDub.
DV uses about 13Gb an hour of hard drive space. After editing you can drop the file into an encoder or VD can frameserve to an encoder like TMPGEnc encoder to save hard drive space.
By the way, we have a DV forum here where a lot of your other DV questions may be answered. Moving You.
