  1. Ok, I got it installed now I'm trying to get to where I can watch tv in it. Whenever I type in mythfrontend and go in there and try to watch tv. I get an error saying it can't connect to the backend server.

    I don't actually use MythTV, but I've looked at it seriously. My understanding is that you have to have MySQL configured, either on the MythTV machine or on a machine it's networked to, to store the MythTV database. Do you have MySQL properly configured?

    I've had this problem also. the last time I set up a triple boot.
    What I did at first was to do an alt-cntl-f1 log into root and started mythbackend manually and then alt-cnt-f7 and eveything work fine. What I endend up doing was to stop mythtv and ran the setup againg and that fixed the problem.
