i posted that i used my ati card to download a vhs tape. the file size ended up to be 4.7 gb. i read the reply and loaded a calculator. all it says on the tape is 118 minutes. how can i determine what to put in the calulator ? if i read it right that if i lower the bitrate i should get a smaller file.
thanks

Changing the bitrate will vary according to which software you are using to do the captures.
There is some information here: http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/index_english.html#capture
and here: http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/capture/atimpeg/atimpeg.htmGoogle is your Friend -
what type of ati card do you have? and why is this not being continued in the original post?
