episodes to vobs\dvd

OK i have a tv series of 8 epesodes which to save wasting dvd,s i want to put 2 on each dvd tried this with dvd santa which is fine and plays on comp but not on dvd player..
everything else i have burned has worked the only thing i can think off is with loading 2 in dvdsanta they have not joined or something stops the dvd from starting
i could use tmpgenc but it takes far to long to encode and batch encoding dont work for me either..

dvdsanta and tmpgenc are not the only tools available out there.....try DIVXTODVD.
