    Hi,

I have a lot of DVD concerts that I would like to play in my car. The head units does not recognize the backups that I have which has a VIDEO_TS folder. However, I have some concerts that is 1 layer and using DVDecrypter extracting to .iso and then using the same program to write the .iso file, will play on these head units like the JVC 5100.

I would like the concerts with 2 layers to be converted to .iso format so I can, hopefully play it on a car head unit.

Any suggestions or anybody have experience in playing 2 layer DVD's (backed up not the original) in any car head unit (Alpine, Pioneer, JVC or whateve is out there)?

Any help will be much appreciated.
    WinXP SP1, Epson R200 and Pioneer A107

  2. Use dvd decrypter in File mode and use DVD Rebuilder to shrink the DVD to DVD5. There won't be any noticable change in quality this way and they will play fine.

I'd just burn one to a DL disc and try it. If it works, it works. If not, you've still got a 1:1 backup for your settop DVD player(s).
    If in doubt, Google it.
