  1. Okay this is my problem. I have a Cyberhome Dvd player 300s. and I love it. It doesnt give me problems. But recently I started to burn my own dvds. I made music videos and burn them to dvd. Well i use Dixvtodvd to convert my Avi file to a dvd vob file.. everything goes fine until i play it on my dvd player.

Everything is zoomed in fullscreen. But when i view the dvd on my friends dvd player is widescreen like it suppose to be. So my friend made his dvd with the same software and his dvd ( and we use the same media) played widescreen in mine. I dont know what i am doing wrong. Or is it my dvd player? at first i thought i was my tv because its an old tv from the 80's.. but i hooked my player to a newer tv and does the same thing. I think when encode it ( or whatever to do) my avi to vob i do something wrong. I dont know what to do.

What should i do? and my dvd player is only 3 months old.. this is the only problem i have with it..

  2. it is a setting on your player's menu, look around (best if you turn on without a disc inside) all players have a menu setting to force a widescreen or 4:3 full frame picture. I had the same issue once.
