    Hi people, I am looking at getting a DVD Recorder with a HDD. The question is, is it possible to do a high speed copy of a DVD on the PC's HDD to the HDD on the DVD Recorder - movie only or is this not possible due to different compressions and formats. The idea is to back up new DVD's onto the PC and just copy them to the DVD recorder for later viewing.
