You can't. Why didn't you create a compliant DVD res when you where at it?
You could try patching the mpeg header with DVDPatcher to a valid DVD res to make TDA accept it, but if your DVD player will, is another story.

Nero would probably let you do it, though it will complain first. It sure complained about my SVCD being non-standard (both video and audio)

Even you manage to author such a non-standard resolution, there is no guarantee your player (or any player) will play it correctly, if at all.

Why would you knowingly encode to a non-compliant resolution, then expect to be able to author it ?

Dvdlab will accept and author it, but I can't predict how your Dvd player will react to it. Best case scenario, you may have to zoom in with the remote to fit it to your screen.

  6. Thanks for your replys.I did it at the resolution i did because it was originally widescreen and i do not like widescreen. If i make it 720x480 it stretches the charactors to much.

In that case your best option would be to put a black border around the image to fill it out to a DVD compliant resolution.

tmpgenc will add black borders if you set it it to keep aspect ratio. read a tmpgenc guide.
