    What are the best settings to use on this device for optimum playback?

    Yes I have read that, it was very helpful.

    What would you recommend for settings since you cant have both the TBC on and the video stabilizer. Which of those 2 would you choose between?

    Also does the brand of Svideo cable matter? So far the RCA monster cables have a much much better video quality than the generic svideo cable.

    Use TBC unless it causes problems.
    Use stabilizer if there is an issue the TBC does not correct.
