There are some 1 sec freezing ( i dont care about that, cause it goes back to normal), but when i convert them to watch them on standalone players, it messes up my whole audio sync cause of those sudden 1 sec delays. ARe these problems very common?
will video fixer help me in this?

Yes, it's common (specially for downloaded material)
No, a "video fixer" will probably not do you any good.

alright, whats the best solution to this? If there are any easy solutions, Im willing to do it.

these are rvm files and u cant convert them ccause if you do, their audio will just mess up
-
Well, do they play properly in Real Player or any DShow player with Real Alternative?
-
they play properly in real player.....there may be a 1 sec freeze occasionaly but but goes back to normal. But when I convert them, the audio goes all over the place cause of those occasional 1 sec freezes...

would it be wise if i cut my files into 10 minute segments then burning them? That way only some parts will be affected.
-
If you can download the files again do that, if not and they play fine in RealPlayer just use a TV out card and record to something like a DVD recorder.
-
well i dont have a dvd recorder, i just have a burner......Will mymethod work? just split the files so the later files wont be affected by the freeze?
-
the thing is, even though sometimes when i converted the .vob files and playing them on computer....it will lag a bit....But when i play them on dvd player there is no lag....do u think if i burn it , it will be fine?

i just found out most of these rvm are like this..its bascially a chinese series of drama.......All those these series are in rvm format . Theyr'e bascially for my parents to watch
-
but all these files are in rvm and i would need tons of vhs , lol
-
It'll be fine when you burn them. RMVB is not an easy format to playback.
