There are some 1 sec freezing ( i dont care about that, cause it goes back to normal), but when i convert them to watch them on standalone players, it messes up my whole audio sync cause of those sudden 1 sec delays. ARe these problems very common?

will video fixer help me in this?

Yes, it's common (specially for downloaded material)
No, a "video fixer" will probably not do you any good.

Your downloads are corrupt. Try downloading them again.

would it be wise if i cut my files into 10 minute segments then burning them? That way only some parts will be affected.

  9. If you can download the files again do that, if not and they play fine in RealPlayer just use a TV out card and record to something like a DVD recorder.

It might. It might also make your audio sync problems a lot worse. I cannot image what rmvb could be so important that you would put yourself through so much torment.

It'll be fine when you burn them. RMVB is not an easy format to playback.
