  1. ok simple ? after using smartripper then dvd2avi can i delete the vob files b4 encoding the d2v and wav files?

  2. I dont know about other programs except TMPGenc, but for TMPGenc, YOU MUST have all the vobs, d2v, wav, all the stuff in same directory. Once you make the MPEG then you can delete all those extremely large files.

    This is only way I have been able to make the MPEG with TMPGenc, someone correct me if I am wrong here.

  3. yes, you can NOT delete the vob files before you let tmpgenc encode the dvd rip. however, unlike wut akbrown said, the vob files do NOT have to be in the same directory as the d2v and wav files. As long as you do NOT move the vob files after you create the d2v file, you will be fine.
