    i as converting a rmv file with winavi, but instead of getting the regular .ifo and .bup, i got .nav file...



    Can my standalone still work w/o the .ifo and .bup files? I think Winavi does the authoring already

    According to the FAQ for winavi ( http://www.winavi.com/en/support/faq/video-converter/why.htm ), .nav files are created when the conversion cannot be completed.
