I can succesfully burn a DVD (video - usuing Pinnalce Studio 10) and it will play on my DVD player. When I try to play it on my PC using Windows Media Player, I get some copyright error or something like that. Is there a setting or flag I need to set when burning? I can't find a plug-in of any sort. Thanks.

Theres a dvd plugin for windows media palyer. I don't have a link at the moment but it should be in the TOOLS section on the left.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Can someone give me the down and dirty on the difference between an Encoder, decoder, codec? I can't play a burnt DVD on my PC (Windows Media Player) and I believe I need a DVD plugin (decoder).

uncompressed bitstream-> encoder -> compressed bitstream

compressed bitstream -> decoder -> uncompressed bitstream

codec = combination of "coder / decoder"

Noite: codec and decoder is often used interchangeably.
