I have seen alot of people complaining about happauge support for XP, I was searching for a driver for my rio and found some new driver updates for happauge cards at http://www.windrivers.com/

Why should we have to pay to join Windrivers when the updated drivers should be available for free from the Hauppauge website?.

Actually those are XP drivers for the standard WinTV cards. They can be used on the PVR card and will allow capturing to AVI however they will NOT allow capturing to MPEG using the card's own hardware. We are still awaiting true WDM MPEG drivers from Hauppauge and this is what most people are complaining about. Hauppauge also have very very poor customer support and aftersales service. Try emailing them, or calling them, and see if you even get a reply.

If wait for WinTV-PVR WDM drivers there not ready.
