Hey guys, I have a problem converting an AVI file to an ASF file.

I own a I-JOY mobiDV h12 Camcorder and I want to be able to convert an avi file to an asf that I can view on it. It uses an SD card and the specs for the video type it plays is...

    video - 640 X 480

    Aspect ratio - 4:3

    Audio codec - IMA ADPCM

    Video codec - ISO MPEG-4 Video V1

Any help is appreciated. My email address is DJAHTO@GMAIL.COM by the way in case you want to just e-mail how to do it instead. Thanx!

Interesting item, can you post a sample video that it recorded?

I have been into computers since 1980. Ive been tinkering with DV in one flavor or another since 1990.

It doesn't encode it to the correct video codec (ISO MPEG-4 Video V1)

I tried it anyway and it dont play.

Here's a quick clip I just made so u can see what type of file it uses.

    file0001.asf

Already tried that...Dont work. That was one of the first suggestions made by a friend of mine but for some reason i dont think it has version 1 of the video codec, and doesn't have the audio codec it uses at all.
