Trouble getting subs to work after conversion

I am new to the forums here, but I have used this site tons of times I recently ran into a problem and I was wondering if anybody could help? I have some ogm files that play fine in wmp10 with subtitles however, when I convert it over to mpeg2(to burn to dvd) the subtitles don't work. I have tried most of the guides on this forum, I can get the subtitles to show up but they are all out of sync. I have converted video before without any problems, why would I be able to view the video in media player with the subs all sync'd up but the subtitles dont show up when I frameserve to tmpgenc? Thanks a lot for you time

And HOW did you frameserve to TMPGEnc any way? Or do you expect us to use our psychic powers?
