    Taiyo Yuden has released their DL+R media. It is rated at up to 6X. Has anyone tried any of it?

    nope, what drives support it in there firmware, i know my liteon 1653 doesnt lol

    Source? I find it somewhat hard to believe as I haven't seen any TY DL mid code in any firmwares so far. Also 6x is not an official DVD+R DL speed, only 2.4x and 8x are official speeds.
