I am burning DVDs with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 SE but all of the results produce very jumpy video with my Sony DRX-500UL burner.
I can get better results authoring the very same AVI clips with my copy of Sonic MyDVD version 4.5. The problem with that program is it can't add chapter points, nor can it adjust quality for the length you need to fit on a DVD.
Is the Ulead program known for erratic results?
What other program is out there that will support burning from AVI clips, and will allow the addition of chapter points in the authoring stage?

DVD MF V3 is very stable... make sure you are not re-encoding compliant videos (option in the preferences)... their encoder isn't the best... feed it clean, compliant MPEG's created on something else.
