The website (http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/eng/Products/ATSC5Gold.aspx) for FusionHDTV 5 says "Includes MPEG encoder for analog TV/video recording". Does anyone know if this means this card has a hardware encoder built in it and it does not rely on software encoder to convert analog video to Mpeg?
Thanks
Ravi

According to the title bar description it says "software decoder" so I'd probably say no. I'm actually going to buy the fusion 3 in a few days just because its a little cheaper.
You may want to think about looking for a hardware encoder since you have a slower computer. I have a 2.66ghz celeron so I don't think it should tax my system too much.
Keep looking I'm sure there are options out there.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
