One person around here is having some kind of trouble with colors rendering to NTSC MPEG2 Interlaced. Some friends suspect he's having some kind of problem with fields and have advised him to encode to NTSC checking Top filed first. My question is very straightforward: is there any difference for NTSC? Some time ago I read a post around here where someone stated that there was no difference for NTSC, only for PAL (25). Is that true?
    Thanks in advance.

Top field first or bottom file first is all dependent on your source. NTSC doesn't care which one you use, you just have to tell it which one you are using.

Suppose I'm going to edit an interlaced MPEG2 or AVI - how do I know it's Top or Bottom field first???
    Thanks in advance.
