    Has anyone every converted to nero digital. I was wondering what is so special about converting to this format. Thanx All.

    It is very fast, very simple (using Nero Recode), in fact it is the best method of DVD/video compression(IMHO), if you intend to play it on your computer/laptop.

    Nothing really special about the format. Nero Digital = mp4, just with chapters and subtitles as private streams. Everything else is regular mp4.

    Nero use Ateme's video codecs for encoding (ASP and AVC) as well as their own aac codec though. Still the fact is that it is possible to create an mp4 using say XviD for video and faac for audio.
