How to convert DVDs back to MPG files for reauthor or reedit
I made myself some DVDs sometime ago, but have lost the original MPG files due to a disk crash.
When I rip my DVD VOB files, I get an M2V and AC3 files, which I can't edit in Vegas 5. Can someone suggest the best way to convert my DVD VOB files directly to an editable MPG? I've had a read through the Help page above, but the answer is not obvious.

Ian Tresman
