How do I use Nero to burn .rm files to dvd ?

I have verson 6.x , it can handle wmv,avi but not .rm
Do I need to install realplayer ?
Or do I need to convert the rm file to something else ?

AFAIK, it can't. I assume you want it to be able to play on a settop DVD palyer. You might look to this for RM conversions:

Since Nero uses dshow for input I would have thought it would handle rm fine, that is if you can play it back via dshow (Real codecs + Gabest's dshow filter).

AFAIK=As Far As I Know

Compliant DVD is MPEG2.

Sorry, that wasn't really the link I wanted. EO Video can do RM conversions, it's what I've used a few times.

I admit, I've never tried Nero for RM to DVD. I didn't think it would do that. Of course there's so many versions of Nero out there, hard to say what it can do.

I only use Nero for burning, as it's conversions leave a lot to be desired, IMO, (In My Opinion)

But you can check 'Convert' to the left, and select 'RM to DVD' under 'Format Conversions' and pull up a few guides that may be useful.
