  1. I have been trying to extract the 5.1 ac3 audio out of a transport stream without much luck. I have installd projectx and this just leaves no file, but a log file that says it has written 0 bytes. I am also trying besweet 1.4, but can't figure out how to load the ac3enc through the gui. I have converted the video with autogk, but it wouldn't recognize the audio for some reason. Any ideas for me.

Things I think may be wrong, the only ac3 decoder installed is the cyberlink powerdvd one. I had the open source one but when I played movies and shows with ac3, the volume was way to low and couldn't hear it even with the stereo cranked, so the cyberlink one seems to do a lot better. I just wondering if these other programs are trying to use that decoder. So I just want to extract and reconvert down to something like 192 instead or just do it straight from the source file (.tp)

Go to http://www.doom9.net, click on Downloads, then select Full Software Page and install the AC3 filters package. I recently had some weird DivX encoding issues regarding AC3 and it not being able to find my drivers, even though I also have PowerDVD installed. Installing the AC3 filters package fixed that problem.

I haven't had a whole lot of luck with projectX, so I can't tell you if that's the real problem or not.
