I'll answer as fast or faster (if I have any answers for ya)
please give more detail to your process, for starters. . .
* R U frameserving
* settings (other then template) in tmpg
* exact resolutions (like it really matters)
* did you use the [x] Source under Advanceds tab to
* etc., etc.
Hurry up!

Que !! Sorry im a newbie at this, i used the standard īSVCD-PAL -tempplate that follows with TMPGEnc. And thatīs all.. Didnt touch anything else...
Sorry !!! -
you said:
>>is that the sound its encoding??
I'm assuming then, here, that you mean, "does that sound like i'm encoding
it correctly??"
Anyways, I think that that's what you were trying to say, so, based on that...
Yes. Looks about right to me. But, I'm puzzled about the black space you
said it encodes.
* Are you saying that its STILL encoding?
* Can you see numbers at the top of tmpg changing in any way?
If not, then the encode is finished!
Also, if you're main concern is the time it takes to encode, (and this is
what I was going to help you on) then maybe you should try your
PAL encoding version's resolution from 480x576 down to 352x576.
You should see a big difference in encoding time. And I assure you,
you wont loose any quality from this. And, it will look very good.
Try this out for size, if you don't believe me:
Encode 1000 frames clip at 480x576 and then another at 352x576
and see the time difference.
You do this by:
* going into Advanced tab
* put an "x" and dbl-click [x] Source and finding an easy scene and set your 1000 frames
to encode (will take a little practice)
Well, I hope I've ben some help here.
Check back with shortly, K??
I'm right here!

Thanx alot.. Havenīt tried yet but i will..
No , i ment if it was the sound it was encoding because the movie-encoding is already done.. but i keeps decoding a black screen and the numbers is changing.. What happens when u check the source thing ???...

checking the [x] Source and dbl-clicking it will allow you to open
another windows (with a video) and select a certain area (scene) to
encode only. So, instead of encoding the WHOLE movie all over
again, you can just selecte a certain area in a scene (frames)
and just encode that, and maybe only encode 1 minutes worth
or something like that. Hard for me to explain. You'll just have
ta try it out for yourself.
