Hi,
I've aquired some AVIs of various movies but for some reason these jus cannot be converted to MPG. I've tried TMPG, PAnasonic MPEG, ULead, various apps and get constant problems, usually audio related. Even Virtual Dub will not allow me to dub the audio seperatly.
Has anyone got a setup that consistently works in this scenario and what software do you use???
Thanks

I've come across problems with the audio being encoded from DIVX AVI to MPEG 1.
I followed the "How to convert audio in a video" in the menu to the left and found that by extracting the audio from the DIVX and saving it as a WAV file(huge file ..by the way)You are then able to use TMPGE to run it as a VCD compliant using the supplied templates (ie:NTSC VCD FILM...etc).
It is a bit of a lengthy process ,but it works
